We, as humans, are led to believe that the line between reality and imaginary is thick, and impenetrable.
It’s not.
When asked if something else exists beyond what can be proven in our world, humans tend to say “no.”
They’re wrong.
There is so much more out there. So many more worlds. So many more realities.
Aspenfae has been around just as long as our own world has been. Physically, it is much like Earth, except that Aspenfae is filled with something humans only dream of.
Magic.
We’re not asking you to pick a card, or to lay down in a box while we pretend to cut you in half. All we’re asking is that you don’t look at something and only see what’s logical. Look at something and see what’s possible.
But contrary to prior belief, magic does not make all things good. Let me tell you a story.
Once upon a time there was a princess. She lived in a huge castle in the middle of a beautiful kingdom. She was the only child of the King and Queen, and they loved her very much. Even though she was just a baby, the princess was already well liked by the people of the kingdom. All of them, but one.
Every story has an antagonist, and this one is no different. An evil sorceress by the name of Abriella lived in the castle as well. No one knew the strength of her powers, or the strength of her hate. She was jealous of the princess, and plotted to kill her.
On the girls fourth birthday- when she was due to come into her powers- Abriella attacked the royual family with all the magic she possessed. But the witch was too late. The princess had already come into her powers, and she unknowingly used them to protect her family and banish Abriella.
But the princess was no longer safe. Evil was stirring in their world, the darkest evil anyone had seen in hundreds of years. So her parents made a daring plan. The Queen took their daughter through the veil hiding world from world. They stripped her of her powers and her memories of the kingdom. When the time came she would return- powers and memories intact- and take her rightful place as the Princess of Aspenfae.
The princess has turned 15. The time has come, but not in the way anyone expected. She has come through alone, without her mother. No one knows where she is.
Abriella has also returned to Aspenfae. The princess' magic seems to have finally broken.
