Long ago,
before humans lived on the Earth, the Harvest Goddess, the mother of all life and prosperity in this world, created a mystical sanctuary that stretched as far as the eye could see. She poured her soul into developing this flourishing, tranquil place that was full of life, which she called The Sacred Land. Plants grew everywhere and the fruits that fell of the looms of those plants fed the abundant wild animals that made this land their home.
The terrain here was as varied as the creatures that lived there- ponds, oceans, mountains, forests, and fields all lay, peacefully in this valley of life. The Harvest Goddess knew that after she created the humans that would control the Earth, they, too, would find this place, and make it their home, to live naturally among that animals and plants that were there first.
As time passed and humans began to appear in corners of the Earth, the plants that prospered here began to return to the Earth from which they originated, and the animals went to accompany the humans, to whom they would be companions. And while, momentarily, The Sacred Land would be absent of any sort of beings or excitement, the seeds of life that filled this land just before still lay, waiting, beneath the soil.
Decades, centuries, and even millenniums past before humans finally came close to this forgotten land. It is now present-day, and urbanization, cities, and people are expanding towards what was once The Sacred Land. Buildings and towns are creeping closer to the land that was meant to be special. If not acted upon soon, there's no doubt that The Sacred Land will be claimed and some major city will be built upon it.
That's why The Harvest Sprites have intervened. Nik, Nak, and Flak, the trademark trio of the Harvest Moon series have rushed all over the world to find the people that they know will be able to save The Sacred Land from its doom- never having the prosperity it once had again. By working through people's dreams, the Harvest Sprites have already found numerous people that they believe capable of helping rescue The Sacred Land- a mayor, a family that's already started a ranch and farm on the land, civilians that will own shops on the land, and other people, but it still is not enough.
In order for The Sacred Land to be revived of its liveliness, people need to inhabit the land and spread their own life around the land, whether that be in the form of creating friendships, growing crops, raising animals, starting families, or however they choose to live.
Now it's up to you to
